You can send out follow up e-mails as often as you like, but don’t forget, that each time they receive an email from you there’s a link at the bottom that asserts ‘un-subscribe’. So be careful that you continue to offer them something they can benefit from and not only a selling spiel.

Naturally, the whole point of gathering your website visitors name is to hopefully turn them into a buying shopper. It’s estimated that up to 98% of the folks that visit your site won’t make a purchase on their first visit. And they won’t ever come back. That’s the reason why using an opt in email list is important. To monetize your list you have two basic options: you can send out a sales message say for each 5 or so informative e-mails, or you can add a brief sales message as a post script to each e-mail you send out.

Remember that the folk on your list likely get a lot of mails every day and you want to make yourself stand out, you would like to show them the information in your mails will help them and that it’s worth their effort to open and read your e-mails. If you can accomplish that your mails will be the ones that get opened on a constant basis.

To build trust and concord with your internet site visitors use an automated automatic responder system and opt in mails.

The Importance of Google in Internet Marketing

Many people who only start using the Internet for the first time in their lives think of the Internet and Google as a synonym. After all, that’s the first thing they see after opening the browser and that’s where they enter the keywords of where they want to go. Most of these people even use Google instead of the browser’s address bar to go to the websites they already know.

For us marketers it only means that our websites simply must be found through Google. By the latest research I know about Google’s share of all Internet’s traffic is only about 30%, but that’s a big share nonetheless. It’s true that our websites can do well even without being found anywhere on Google – we might have banners on other popular sites, use mailing lists and so on, but the best part is that most of that 30% is free traffic (minus some initial and maintenance effort).

The matter of fact is that Google can provide our websites with the best return on our investment in most cases. So its role is huge here.

The role of this search engine in the Internet Marketing is even bigger if we consider the paid advertising part of it – Adwords. To many online businesses that’s the only way to get new clients. The PPC advertising through Adwords is not as rewarding as organic search results, but it’s the most targeted “cold” traffic there is.

To conclude, the importance of Google in the Internet marketing is two fold – SEO and PPC. Both of these parts can boost your online businesses and in many cases it’s what keeps the business going.
